thump, thump, thump, dang it!

Right now, in the other room, I can hear Mason (he'll be 10 in a couple weeks).

I hear "thump, thump, thump, thump, DANG IT!" Repeat this every few seconds. Occasionally it lasts a little longer before he gets to the "DANG IT!" part.

You see, he got a juggling kit for Christmas and is just geting around to using it now. He got the hang of using one of the balls that came with the kit and now he's up to using two of them.

He's definitely doing better than I could with it - I am quite possibly the world's most uncoordinated person. If there were a competition for that title, I would win, hands down (or some days, that'd be face down, and not for anything dirty, just 'cause that's how I would have fallen, LOL).

I'm glad that he's decided to try something other than a video game for once!

furry little blanket theif!

Picture it .... Sunday morning, 8am.

I shuffle down the stairs in my pj's, hoping to wrap my fluffy purple blanket around me while I have a bowl of cereal and check my email.

I walk into my office only to find that my blanket has been stolen!

Who did it?

Places I like to visit

I want to share with you today a few of the other sites I check out daily (or sometimes more than once a day, lol).

Cute Overload. This site is better than your morning cup of coffee. The first time I found it I think I spent hours just browsing and "aww-ing". You will love it!

I Can Has Cheezburger. This site never fails to crack me up. I'm sure that a lot of you have found it or something similar already, but I'm sharing it with you anyway.

Perez Hilton. My guilty pleasure. There. I've admitted it. That's the first step to recovery, right?

My Etsy store. It's new - and I had to throw in a plug for myself, right? LOL I only have three photographs up for sale right now, but I promise, they're good ones!

Jessica Claire. She quickly became one of my favorite photographers. She shoots some amazing weddings, has an impecible eye for light and hers is another site I could spend hours on. If I'm as half as good as she is some day, I'm on the right track.

Pogo.com. Game site. If you're on there and want to play a game against me some time, just ask and I'll give you my nickname on there! I love Gin, Canasta, their version of Scrabble and a bunch of other games.

Modcloth.com. I am SO in love with their purses and bags. The Kitty Kiss-lock bag WILL be mine some day. A great stop for one of a kind clothes and some adorable household items too (like giraffe scissors, mushroom lamp, and cupcake alarm clock).

Flickr.com. That's to my Flickr page, but feel free to spend time looking at all the wonderful photos that people post on there!
