12 inches.
After over a year of not getting my hair cut, I am getting 12 inches of hair cut off tomorrow afternoon. I'm excited, but also wicked nervous about it. Having my hair/head touched gives me the heebie jeebies something fierce, so this is not an easy thing for me to do.

I do plan on donating it, yes.
It's wonderful that you're donating your hair and beginning the new year with a new "look"!
It can be daunting to change but change is the one constant in life as "they" say!
